Crafting in Chronicles of Arcadia is a core system that lets you gather materials, create gear, grow plants and catch rare fish. It plays a key role in improving your character and earning gold.
Gathering is your first step in the crafting journey, providing the raw materials needed for most production skills. These are leveled independently and practiced out in the open world.

Fishing is a gathering profession that lets you catch fish and rare items from lakes, rivers, and special zones. Catch fish and rare treasures with rods and bait, used in crafting and cooking.
Crafting and gathering professions progress through five ranks. Each rank determines how many gathering and production skills you can actively level at that time.

To level up your professions, you’ll need to visit trainers who can guide you through each tier of crafting. You can train your crafting and gathering skills with instructors found in Varanas, Dalanis, Obsidian Stronghold, and Heffner Camp.
Some crafting materials can be bought directly from NPCs, often located in different regions of the world. Crafting materials can also be purchased from NPCs across many zones. Some require quest progress to access their shop.
