The Arena of Darkness (AoD) is a combat zone in Talaghan, where players can engage in PvE battles, bet on monster fights (EvE), or compete in PvP battlegrounds. The arena offers progressively harder rounds, rewarding players with Nero Coins, loot chests and crafting materials.
The Arena of Darkness is a round-based survival challenge where players face waves of monsters within a set time limit, similar to Ancient Dreamland. Each session consists of 10 rounds per loop, with each loop becoming more difficult than the last. There is the choice to fight for the Dark Forces or the Light Forces, either alone or in a group. Beware that you need to fulfill some requirements first to be able to fight as Dark Forces.
Bosses appear on rounds 5 and 10, introducing strong enemies with unique tactics that require careful play. After your third death, the game ends. Each player gets one attempt per day, but a reset option is available in the Item Shop for those who want another chance.
You earn scaling rewards based on your progress in the Arena of Darkness. The further you advance, the better the rewards.
As loops and rounds increase in difficulty, the quality of rewards also improves. Additionally, Marcus Dixon offers titles and buff food in exchange for Nero Coins.
The EvE Betting system was designed as an alternative activity for players who prefer non-PvP content but still enjoy the excitement of competition. In this system, you can wager on the outcome of a monster-versus-monster battle within the Arena of Darkness. Bets can be placed using Nero Coins or Diamonds, and a match requires at least one player or a minimum of three players to begin. Also, you can watch the fight in real time.
Once the encounter concludes, you receive a mail notification informing you of your win or loss. Marcus Dixon provides details on the total number of bets and currencies involved in each fight, helping players track the stakes. However, there is a cap on winnings, meaning the maximum amount a player can win cannot exceed 20% of their initial bet.
The PvP mode in the Arena of Darkness is accessed through the Battlegrounds UI, located near the Minimap. To start a match, a minimum of five players is required. The player with the most kills, when the timer runs out, wins. Winning players receive Nero Coins as a reward, along with Atlas Tokens, with which you can purchase special items.
Before being able to play games in the Arena of Darkness, you have to enter the Tutorial Arena, where Marcus Dixon is guiding you through each game.
