In Chronicles of Arcadia is the equipment a very important part of the game. It decides what kind of instance you can enter and also how strong you are. The following will explain where to get gear from Starter to Veteran.
The Phirius Shell Gear is an excellent option for newcomers, offering a solid starting point with decent gear.
You can obtain the gear by buying it at the merchants in Lost Island of Atlantis. The currency Phirius Coins is obtainable by doing daily minigames like Malatina or Goblin Mines.
Details:
A 4-piece lower body armor set. Each piece comes with one random purple stat of Infero or Stasis.
The Set is a full 8- piece armor set with rings and earrings. Each piece comes with one random purple stat of the Unknown or Times Past.
This worldboss you can find in Silverspring. It drops purple Arcadia Stats and the currency Proof of Myth.
In Dalanis Nightmare you can get a accessory set including a ring, earring and a necklace.
You can enter the instance near the porter of Lost Island of Atlantis. The NPC Dean Wenchister gives you the quest for the Aoth Rings. The rest of the set you can farm in the instance.
Beware: Killing the endboss closes the instance for 6 hours and your group receivse a 3-day debuff preventing re-entry.
In this instance you can get weapons, equipment and purple Tikal stats. Also you will get a Tikal core for later equipment.
You can find the instance in Dragonfang Ridge.
NPC Jim Weam sells recipes for transformed Tikal Gear in the Lyndon Camp in Syrbal Pass in exchange for Proof of Myth. A merchant in Atlas sells gear for Arcadia Coins, including purple Tikal stats.
This instance gives you weapons by looting bosses or crafting with materials found inside the instance.
The materials include Lava Dust, Lava Shards and Molten Fragments. NPC Taurelias Maeve helps you with crafting the red rarity items. Also you can get a Fire Core for later equipment.

Materials include Ice Dust, Ice Shards and Frozen Fragments. NPC Dennis Andle helps you with crafting the items. The bosses drop purple gear and Ice Shards. The endboss dropds a red rarity weapon with Gorge of the Ice Giants stats.
Also you can get a Ice Core for later equipment.
Realm of Forgotten Legends Gear and weapons can be obtained by looting bosses or crafting with materials found inside the instance.
Materials include Earth Dust, Earth Shards, Buried Fragments, and Weapon Fragments. NPC Powerful Anders helps with crafting red items. Bosses drop purple gear and Earth Shards. The endboss drops purple weapons with Realm of the Forgotten Legends stats.
Also you can get a Earth Core for your golden equipment.
Aoth Jewelry can be upgraded using Buried Jewelry Fragments to red rarity. Weapons can be upgraded by combining a Weapon Fragment with the right combination of cores for a golden rarity weapon.
Hekhig, the Dwarven Chief Engineer, allows players to upgrade Red Realm of Forgotten Legends gear to golden rarity.
Almighty Cores you can obtain by giving Hekhig 1x Weak Core, 1x Temple Core, 1x Fire Core, 1x Ice Core, 1x Earth Core.
Beware: The success rate depends on the number of Almighty Cores used (1-10 Cores).
Dark Cores are initially random, but after 5 runs, you are guaranteed 39 Dark Cores. Stat Fragments can be traded with NPC Rhognu for purple Dark Core Stats. Obscure Metal provides a random amount of Dark Cores.
Rhognu upgrades Realm of Forgotten Legends Gear and Weapons to Dark Core Grade using Dark Cores and Arcadia Coins.
Aldo is a powerful enemy that drops rare items. You can find the boss in the Jungle of Atlantis. The drop includes red rarity shields and talismans and 2 purple Inferno of Divinity stats.
Zhargos you can find in the zone Chassizz. By enthering the portal near the bridge, you will find yourself inside the bossroom. By entering the room you will get a debuff which prevents you from re-entering for 24 hours.
The boss exists in a normal and hardmode.
By killing the worldboss you can get golden rarity shields and talismans. In the hardmode version you can also get 2 purple Colossus stats.
Killing monsters in Orkham provides green to purple rarity materials needed to craft Orkham lower body and accessory sets. Completing certain events inside the instance can provide you with Corruption Crystals and Destruction Cores.
Combining a Destruction Core with a Dark Core weapon in your Transmutor will provide you with a corrupted version of this weapon plus a Dark Core stat. After finding and solving Elior's puzzle, you can also exchange a Dark Core weapon with Arcadia Coins for a corrupted weapon.
Corrupted weapons have both positive and negative Dynamic Attributes that can be rerolled with Corruption Crystals from events and boss loot, or Corruption Shards from the item shop, providing powerful bonuses.
After solving Orkham's riddles and defeating bosses, which also provide you with an orange rarity Ruined Item with a purple Orkham stat, you can combine the materials, along with a Blueprint obtained from the end boss and Arcadia Coins, to craft a golden Orkham lower body or accessory set at either Rhognu or Hekhig (depending on whom you unlocked). You can also include a Destruction Core to specify which item you want crafted.
Defeating the bosses in this instance will reward you with an orange-tier equipment set and some Arcadia coins upon defeating the final boss.
Defeating the endboss will provide you with purple Arcadia Stats as well as other materials that can be traded for goods with NPC Luisa Welsh.
The endboss will give you a Weak Core, which you need to create your golden Realm of the Legends equipment.
In this instance you can get a purple Unknown stat. Different materials can be obtained from killing monsters and bosses inside Heart of the Ocean. These materials can be traded for a red 2-piece Ring and Earring Set that also comes with a Purple Unknown Tier Stat.
The endboss loot contains purple Times Past stats. Different materials can be obtained from killing monsters and bosses inside Kalin Shrine, which can be crafted into a new type of gear, Artefacts. The End Boss loot also provides a rare material that can be used to upgrade your Artefact from purple rarity to red rarity.
NPC Logden Darkstove provides recipes to craft these Artefacts and a special Plussing-Stone for your Artefacts. Hidden inside the instance is an NPC offering daily quests that rewards materials used in crafting Artefacts and similar items.
The endboss in this instance will provide you with purple Stasis stats. When defeating it, a Splinter will spawn. Clicking it provides you with a Splinter of Form. Collect enough Splinters and combine them with resources from killing enemies inside the Ice Dwarf Kingdom to craft a Defensive Rune of your choice for your Artefact.
NPC Logden Darkstove provides recipes for the runes and a recipe for an Artefact Drill needed to embed a rune in your Artefact.
Killing monsters and killings bosses drops Sathkur's Ancient Coins. These coins can be thrown into the Sathkur Wishing Well, which provides different grades and amounts of materials from previous Nostalgia Instances. Items obtained are random, but after a certain amount, you will always get a fixed item. You can enter the Arcane Chamber of Sathkur once per week.
Beware: The amount of coins dropped from bosses scales with the number of players.
Killing bosses inside the Forsaken Abbey provides you with purple Stasis stats. When defeating the endboss, a Splinter spawns. Clicking it provides you with a Splinter of Emotion. Collect enough Splinters and combine them with resources from killing enemies inside Forsaken Abbey to craft an Offensive Rune for your Artefact.
NPC Logden Darkstove provides recipes for the runes and a recipe for an Advanced Artefact Drill needed to embed a second rune in your Artefact.
Defeating any enemy inside the Necropolis provides you with green rarity "Tonic Call of the Void" crafting materials. Two out of five Aspects can be obtained after defeating the endboss. These Aspects are needed to craft a 2-piece accessory set that also comes with a purple Stasis stat.
After finishing the Necropolis of Mirrors questline, Sela'mefon in front of the instance will provide you with recipes, teaching you how to craft the 2-piece Abyss Accessory Set. Additionally, combining all 5 different Aspects together in your transmutor will provide you with a Divine Bond. Combining this with Sun Essences will yield a Ray of Hope with which you can "unlock" your Artefact, making it possible to put stats on it.
Defeating any enemy inside the Grafu Castle provides you with green rarity Selenium crafting materials. Also you get White Foundation as crafting material from the bosses. From the last boss called Annelia, you get 4 Moon Essences and each player one Lunar Light to craft the new Artefact type called Moon Artefact. Also you can get a stat called Delusion from the bosses.
