¶ Secret Temple of Tikal
The Secret Temple of Tikal is an early custom instance in Chronicles of Arcadia, introducing players to the core progression system. A short questline from Bolon Yokte in Dragonfang Ridge unlocks access to the temple, and players can reach it quickly through a portal in the Lost Island of Atlantis.

Access to the instance is granted after completing the small questline from Bolon Yokte.

¶ Location
The temple entrance is reached through the Lost Island of Atlantis, where a portal leads directly inside. Also you can travel to Dragonfang Ridge yourself and find the entrance in the lower left side of the map.
¶ Difficulty Modes
The Secret Temple of Tikal offers two modes suited for different player levels and gear strengths.
¶ Normal Mode
Normal Mode represents the original version of the temple.
- Accessible from level 102+
- No gear score requirement
- Full boss mechanics and tactics
¶ Easy Mode
Easy Mode is adjusted for newer players with lower gear.
- Available for characters with a gear score below 1250
- Players can't use Golden Gear inside this instance beside Golden Rental Weapons
- Reduced monster and boss power
- Bosses drop Phirius Shells
- Instructor Crystals offer tactic explanations
- 85% reduced mana consumption
- Once per day, players receive Training Buff Food and Instruments usable only inside the instance
This mode is accessible enough to be completed solo using only Phirius Shell gear, making it a common starting point for fresh characters.

¶ Rewards
Clearing the temple grants progress toward Arcadia’s custom gear system. Bosses award Arcadia Coins, and players can obtain “of Tikal” stats and the core item associated with the instance. This makes the Secret Temple of Tikal an essential early step before moving on to the Chamber of Elements and the Realm of Forgotten Legends.
