Zodiac Pets are a special type of pet in Chronicles of Arcadia, each aligned with an elemental attribute. These pets can be created, evolved, and even enhanced to Legendary and Secret versions. Visit Norah Kalesy at Varanas Gates [49.7 / 80.1] to get started.
Each Zodiac Pet belongs to one of four elemental attributes:
During festivals, players receive Element items based on the event's theme. These are used in pet crafting. Check the Festival Guide to learn which events drop which attributes.
Elements are fused via the Arcane Transmutor in sets of 3 to create higher materials:
Attribute | Element | Stardust | Star Sand | Star Stone | Star Diamond |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Earth | Earth Element | Earth Stardust | Earth Star Sand | Earth Star Stone | Earth Star Diamond |
Wind | Wind Element | Wind Stardust | Wind Star Sand | Wind Star Stone | Wind Star Diamond |
Fire | Fire Element | Fire Stardust | Fire Star Sand | Fire Star Stone | Fire Star Diamond |
Water | Water Element | Water Stardust | Water Star Sand | Water Star Stone | Water Star Diamond |
You can also exchange 100 Elements of one attribute directly for a Pet Crystal by speaking to Norah Kalesy.

The first thing you will need to make a Newborn Zodiac Pet will be a Pet Crystal. These you can obtain from each festival. Also, you will need 3 x Star Sand. Now open your Arcane Transmutor, put in the Pet Crystal and 3 x Star Sand of the same attribute. For example, if you want to create a Newborn Libra Pet, you have to use the Libra Pet Crystal and 3 x Wind Star Sand. You will get a Summoning Stone – Newborn Libra Pet. |
To create an Adult Zodiac Pet, you will need a Newborn Zodiac Pet and 3 x Star Stone. The Newborn Zodiac Pet will disappear, and you will get a Summoning Stone – Adult Pet. To follow up the previous example, you put the Summoning Stone – Newborn Libra Pet together with 3 x Wind Star Stone in your Arcane Transmutor and you will get Summoning Stone – Adult Libra Pet. |

Similar to the steps before, this time you will need a Summoning Stone – Adult Pet and 3 x Star Diamonds to create the Legendary Pet. As example with the Libra Pet again, you put the Summoning Stone – Adult Libra Pet in the Arcane Transmutor, together with 3 x Star Diamonds and you will get Summoning Stone – Legendary Libra Pet. |
If you have all 12 Newborn Zodiac Pets, you can go to Norah Kalesy and get rewarded with Summoning Stone – Star Pet Shining Star. The same you can do with the 12 Adult Zodiac Pets (Summoning Stone – Moon Pet Lunar Spirit) and 12 Legendary Zodiac Pets (Summoning Stone – Sun Pet Jerad). So, if you want to get all 3 Secret Pets, first collect all 12 Newborn Pets, get the Secret Pet and then develop them to Adults.

All pets can be stored in your Partner Bag.
It takes 81 x Elements to get 3 x Star Stones, 127 x Element to get 3 x Star Sand and 243 x Elements to get 3 x Star Diamonds.
Zodiac Pets offer buffs that can be used once per day. Newborn Pets always grant the Star Spirit Blessing, which boosts Combat Experience, Talent Points, and Drop Rate by 20%.
When you summon an Adult or Legendary Pet for the first time, you can choose from several possible buffs. This choice becomes permanent for that pet. If you want to change the selected buff, use a Pet Abilities Reset Scroll. If you want to use the same pet’s buff again within the same day, use a Pet Buffs Reset Scroll.
